About Me
Hello. I am Kris Harris, owner of Harris Organ Works.
The main part of my business is regular seasonal tuning but I am also well-versed in every aspect of troubleshooting, repair, and organ installation and removal. I can and have worked on instruments of all sizes.
In 1995, I graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design.
While still in Kansas, my mechanical inclination, love of music and an appreciation for fine craftsmanship led me into the pipe organ business. I learned the trade in Kansas and continue to service many instruments there.
In 2004 I moved to Colorado to marry, have a child and be closer to my parents and hometown of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Since my move, I have been steadily working toward building a clientelle of nearby instruments. I am always looking to add more.It would be my sincere pleasure to add your instrument to the list of organs I have the privilege to tune and maintain.
Please contact me to discuss the needs of your instrument.
